Wilted a rose in a barren keep
And I, alone, hear the wicked weep
They crave the lull of the blessed sleep
Each one awaits the dark one's reap
Indifferent I stand on ground seemingly bare
To the hollow one's unearthly and ghastly stare
Recognition is a normal daily fare
But not from eyes of my past despair
A time long past, yet there he stands
His royal cast no longer grand
As his unlife drifts at a strand
He reaches out for my beating hand
To join the geist on the hanging tree
Would relieve a sin, and be finally free
Perhaps this life was not meant for me
So I'll join my friend on the hanging tree
I'm just one drop of water,
In the Mercury seas.
I'm the tall wooden oak,
Among the Crystalline trees.
I'm one ray of light,
In an ashen dark meadow.
I'm one glint of flame,
In the embers of white snow.
I'm a breath of fresh air,
In the iodine fog.
I'm a far-away dream,
In a land without thought.
I'm a stroke of blue paint,
Across the bleeding red skies.
I'm a heretical outcast,
In everyone's eyes.
I simply don't fit,
I never belonged.
Because of majority,
I deem myself "wrong"
What if Romeo was a woman, and Juliet a man?
What if the Princess slayed the dragon,
And then asked for the prince's hand?
What if Lincoln built a playground?
Would Jane Addams change the war?
What if the Cuthberts adopted Oliver?
Would it be Anne Gables asking for more?
What if boys played dress-up?
Went shopping, and played with dolls?
What if boys wore make up?
I wonder who it'd appall.
What if all girls had trucks?
And played with video games?
What if girls played football?
Do you think it'd be the same?
What if guys didn't have to be "guys"
They could be a living dream.
What if girls didn't have to be "girls"
They'd sho
I can hear the bones crackle,
I hear the pitiful moans.
I grasp tight on my pistol,
In the dark all alone.
~
They come from the shadows,
And they tear down my walls.
They follow my steps,
As I run down the halls.
~
I shoot as I tremble,
I keep them away.
With a cold dripping fear,
I keep them at bay.
~
They're crawling so closer,
I can't hold them off.
They grab and they gnaw me,
Please! Just please make it stop!!!
~
But you came along,
And you blew them to pieces.
Not a knight in white armor,
But you've still left me speechless.

We head down the stairs,
We have no time to waste.
We go as a pair,
To our inevitabl
